Hey everyone! I’m renting out the second bedroom in my 2 bed, 1 bath apartment. Rent is $1,100 a month, and that includes all your utilities ($970 to split rent and then $130 to cover utilities, internet, etc.) The apartment is on the 3rd floor, so you’ll have to take the stairs, but it’s worth it for the view of Mt. Hood from the patio and the vaulted ceilings. The apartment is fully furnished, except for the bedroom available. I do have an Ikea dresser and cubby storage in the room already if you want to use them, or I can take them out.

FYI, I’m living in the apartment by myself right now and using the spare bedroom as an office. But, I’m gonna clear out the room and make it feel more like our space and not just mine once someone decides to rent it.

Here’s what else you can look forward to:

• A bathroom with a bathtub/shower (I just installed a new shower head and a curved railing to make it extra fancy)
• In-unit washer/dryer
• Patio with storage
• Internet and TV with streaming services in the living room
• Garbage service that picks up at night
• Lots of storage in the kitchen, hallway closets, and bedroom closets
• Plants! I’ve already got some veggies growing and I’m happy to share cuttings with you.

The complex is gated and offers covered and uncovered parking. Plus, there are two pools, two workout centers, and a business center available. They even host community events like book clubs and BBQs. I’m really happy with the complex and think you will be too.

A little about me: I am a 28-year-old female from Portland, OR (she/her). I moved back here from the Bay Area in November because I missed the rain (I’m not kidding!). I have a 7-year-old boxer/Boston terrier mix who is reactive to other dogs, so unfortunately, no other pups are allowed. Additionally, I am allergic to cats, so please no feline friends either. However, my dog is super friendly and loves to play and cuddle.

During the week, I work from home as an HR professional in tech. On weekends, I referee basketball, but unfortunately the season is about to end. I enjoy trying out new restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. I would be delighted if you joined me sometime!
