Move in date flexible between June 1st-Sept 1st

First floor 2 bedroom apartment in a 2 family home (landlord lives upstairs) in a quiet neighborhood in Waltham (about 20 minute drive to Boston). Private room available with shared common areas (kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom). I have lived in the apartment for 3 years and have the common areas fully furnished. There is an in unit washer and dryer. Utilities (heat, gas, electric) not included.

No onsite parking, but street parking is free (no permit required), there is also a school at the end of the street and parking is available there overnight and weekends.

I’m a single working professional. My work schedule is typically Sunday-Thursday 7am-3pm so I’m usually up pretty early and go to bed fairly early, although I’m fine with having a night owl roommate.

I want someone I can get along with but not necessarily be best friends. I am generally pretty quiet and not a social butterfly but I do enjoy going out occasionally and doing cheesy touristy things even though I’ve lived in the area my whole life. I like to find local craft breweries or new restaurants so it would be nice to have a roommate that would want to join me and my friends on occasion. About once a month I’ll have a small group of friends over for a movie or pot luck. The lease is month to month but I’m looking to find someone who wants to move in for at least a year because I don’t want to have a revolving door of people moving in and out.

I do have 2 cats which unfortunately means no more pets. I need someone who is responsible around cats (both have disabilities and CANNOT be let outside).
