3 story townhouse shared with aviation professional (38). The offered rental bedroom is on the ground floor, accessible from both the entry foyer as well as from an exterior door at the rear of the house. You have your own front hall closet in the foyer, plus your bedroom has an en-suite full bathroom, and walk in closet. I will be installing a TV for you on the wall mount. I am open to furnishing it for you if preferred.

The second floor is shared with me (my bedroom is on the 3rd floor) and features a nice kitchen, equipped with a lot of cooking appliances, dining room, living room, deck w/ propane grill.

I am buying this home, closing in early March. I will continue to furnish it nicely, but it may take some time.

The laundry is on the 3rd floor, and you’re welcome to use it. The neighborhood is close to running trails, the Virginia Capital Bike Trail, grocery store, dry cleaners, and a few restaurants. Easy access to Colonial Williamsburg.

I am an airline pilot. If you have a well-trained, house-trained, friendly, adult dog, it’s welcome with a refundable damage deposit of $250.

I am a tidy person, and I appreciate our shared spaces remaining tidy. I like having friends over to dinner, but know that I am not a “party-hardy” person. Due to the nature of my DOT safety-sensitive job, I cannot have ANY drug use in my home, regardless if it’s for medical reasons. I also do not wish to share my home with tobacco users.

I love going running with my dog, spending time with my family, rowing, and riding horses. My nieces, 3 & 5 years old, come to visit occasionally as they live about 2 miles away. We will have sleepovers, and they sleep up on the 3rd floor with me.

My parents come to visit from New England from time to time, especially in the winter months to escape the snow, and they will stay in the 3rd floor guest room. I’m open to your having family visit and using the guest room for them. That room has its own full hall bathroom.

With the unfortunate rise in interest rates, $1200 a month is 1/2 of the cost of the home, and that’s not including the $235 HOA (which I will pay) which provides the swimming pool and other neighborhood amenities. I will pay for the internet, but we will share quantifiable utilities (water & sewer, natural gas, electricity) 50/50.
