Looking to share a 3-bed, 2.5-bath, 1900(!) sq. ft. duplex townhouse in Belmont Heights. You would have your own bedroom, bathroom and driveway parking spot. It’s 8 blocks to the ocean, 1 mile to Belmont Shore, 2 miles to CSULB. The bedroom (10 x 12.5 ft.) can be furnished or unfurnished. All utilities and Wi-Fi included. Garage has W/D and space for your bike. Fenced patio feels private and has good Wi-Fi. Kitchen has all the essentials, but you can bring your own stuff too. This is a quiet home good for studying or working online. Dates are flexible; the room is currently unoccupied.

During the week you’d be sharing the place with just me (introverted 50-ish female who works roughly 2:30 pm till midnight, M-F). My husband works in San Diego M-F and comes home on weekends. I am unobtrusive, drama-free and respect people’s privacy. Given my work hours and quiet disposition, we might not see or hear much of each other at all if you have a daytime schedule. In any case, it’s a 2-story layout, large enough that we can each have space to relax and unwind. However much or little we overlap, I’d like our interactions to be collegial and kind. Am always up for sharing anything I cook or bake, for instance.

Our cat stays only in the foyer and my home office (there are pet gates to keep the rest of the house cat-free). Very sorry, we can’t accommodate another animal.

I’d prefer a female housemate but am open to all genders.
