In search of a housemate for master bedroom/bottom floor of my 3-story home. I enjoy my privacy and I am looking for a housemate who does the same. I live on the upper two floors. There is a door separating the staircase down to the bottom floor/master bedroom that remains closed. The master bedroom has been set up so that it can function as a studio apartment. There is a separate keyed entrance at the bottom of a flight of stairs with an ensuite, laundry, refrigerator, and microwave. The bed frame is queen-size and optional. You will need your own mattress. The bed may be removed. The sliding glass door opens onto a private deck with views of the canyon and mountain ridge. This door would serve as your main entrance. My home is located at the edge of the national forest with no other homes below. There is opportunity for plenty of wildlife sightings and to relax on the deck and enjoy the view when the weather is warm. I have a large, very friendly dog who will be happy to give and receive as many pets as you like. A single pet will considered on a case-by-case basis and will need to be introduced to my dog as part of the process. Pets can be kept separate as we would live in different parts of the house. A $500 pet deposit would be required.
• Non-smokers only • LGBTQIA friendly • Must be able to use stairs
About the roomies
I am a single woman and I live with a very friendly 95 pound bundle of love and energy in the form of a dog named Desi. I enjoy living at the edge of the forest and spending most of my time on my deck during the warmer months. I am an introvert and appreciate my privacy, but I also enjoy company and sharing a meal from time to time. I work as a consultant and ADHD coach for progressive movement-building non-profit organizations. Most of my work is performed at home so I need privacy and calm to conduct my work. I am a creative person and I have dabbled in many different kinds of arts, including painting, writing, woodworking, collage, and making jewelry. Occasionally, I will be out on my deck with my power-tools trying to build something new. I love my little mountain chalet and I have invested lots of time an energy in making improvements.
