Hi everyone, I’m Angelo. I’m 23! Not 20, no idea why it won’t let me edit! Looking for someone to rent out a spare room short term:

I just started a lease at a 2-2 apartment in ID/PS. I’m looking to fill the second bedroom short term from now until June when a friend of mine wants to move in.

The whole space is $2150 + utilities/wifi but because I’m only looking for short term and just want help covering some of the costs so I’m open to rent it for about $900/mo. I’d like to split utilities, but if that’s beyond your budget I’m pretty flexible. I’ll cover WiFi regardless.

The whole apartment is about 720 sq ft and you will have your own bedroom and bathroom (detached), I have the master bedroom with an attached bath so you’ll have your own space excluding the living room and kitchen. It comes with a washer and dryer in the unit, as well as a small balcony. I don’t have a ton of furniture because my last place was a studio, but at least some smaller furnishings in the living room.

It’s an awesome location for commuters, the light rail is less than a 5min walk away and only a few blocks from the main bus lines on 3rd.

I haven’t asked about adding a short term renter to my place, but I’d imagine it will require a quick background check or potentially an application. Regardless, I’ll be in your corner to make sure things go smoothly.

About myself:

I’m a 23 year old (he/him pronouns) working in tech in downtown so I’m out of the space every weekday 8-5, and typically spend evenings away snowboarding or playing basketball at my gym.

I’m fairly new to Seattle (1-year) and don’t have a huge network so I likely won’t have many folks over, but my partner might be around a couple nights a week or I’ll be at her place some nights.

Otherwise, I keep a pretty quiet and tidy space! Full transparency, I will likely smoke a joint once a night out on the balcony but I don’t imagine it will be anything of a disturbance to others.

Ideally looking for someone without pets and is not moving in with a ton of items. I have a family dog who might come to visit every few months, and it’s easier to let him have the space, but I’m open to any and all pets!

Otherwise I’d like to have a roommate who is tidy, open-minded, and kind. I don’t tolerate any forms or discrimination or hate.

Overall, I’m very flexible about the room/bath because it’s short term.
