I have a room open in my 5 bedroom house starting September 1st.

I’m looking for XY roommate to share my house.

The house is a 5 bedroom duplex that has a large patio area in the back with a barbecue grills and a firepit. The house is in a perfect location. 2 blocks from a park, 4 blocks from recreation park, 4 blocks from 2 trails (Cedar and LRT trails, easy access to EP, Excelsior, and Minneapolis), 6 blocks from the River Bluffs trail. 3 blocks from downtown Hopkins (brewery, restaurants, etc), 6 blocks from the light rail station going in.

The room is on the second floor and I’m asking $675 a month for a 125 sqft room with a 17 sqft closet and carpet. There is street parking but also garage parking for $50/month. It is a east facing room. You will share the second floor bathroom with another roommate. This will be open March 17th. $675 for the first months rent, $675 for the security deposit. Utilities are split 5 ways. All payments go thru an online portal via apartments.com. We have fast 1Gb/s internet. Lease is month to month with a 60 day notice

There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 kitchen upstairs, and one bathroom shared between the 2 guys upstairs. The first floor is a separate unit but has some shared space with a renovated kitchen. The garage is detached from the main house. There will be no pets in the house at the time of move in but pets are okay. There is a pet fee. I have a garden going for fresh produce this summer. I also plan to have solar installed.

I will be doing some renovation in the basement but am very respectful of noise and who is around.

I’m looking a guy who has an active growing faith and is involved with a community of believers and is growing spiritually. That being said, we aren’t very judgmental. Some of the hobbies we do are gaming, volleyball, camping, hiking, climbing, cycling, sailing, travel, etc.

No drugs, no smoking, no marijuana. The house is not a place for keggers or getting drunk. A few beers or minimal alcohol consumption is alright. Anyone who is struggling to stay sober or clean isn’t going to be a good fit. There are living standards for quiet hours as well as cleanliness standards with shared responsibility for cleaning common areas.

Current residents include 3 engineers and 1 financial officer.
