I have a large house (5 bedrooms, 3 baths) and its currently just me and my pup! The neighborhood is super quiet & unique. Water views from every room (sakonnet river), half mile walk to sandy point beach, 1 mile walk to polo fields, 2 mile walk to the Glen and one of my neighbors is Sandy Point Stables (horses are always around). The sunrises here are incredible. I’ve been renovating the whole house so your room has brand new hardwood floors and paint. I can either do furnished or unfurnished, whichever you prefer.

The rest of the house has a big living room with tv hooked up to streaming services, fireplace, big kitchen area with island & everything you need to cook. There is a crazy amount of storage space. I’ve got a home gym setup you are welcome to use if you’re into that. Nice big driveway so parking wont be an issue. Oh and there is a roof deck & fire pit so we can enjoy the views & ocean breeze when its nice out. Rebuilding the deck this spring so we should be ready to go for summer.

Water, Trash/Recycling, & internet are included in the price of the room. You will pay half the electric usage, but I’ll cap it at $200 for you so you have some expectation. The whole house is electric, so it can get pricey in the winter & summer.

I’m a software engineer - I just quit my job to start my own tech company so I’m looking to offset some of the cost by renting out a room. I have a 1+ year old wire haired pointing griffon named Easton who is a total love bug. He’s a hunting dog (though I don’t hunt) so he has a ton of energy. Open to people with dogs as long as they get along and aren’t too crazy in the house. Cats are a no-go unfortunately since he loves to chase!

So why do I have such a big house? Great question, well I moved here to be with my girlfriend and bought this house because we were going to do the whole marriage & kids thing, but it didn’t work out. More on that if you want but you have to buy me a beer first.

I’m looking for someone on the quieter side, no smoking and no drugs please. I want to live with someone I’ll get along with - this is my home and I don’t want to feel like I have strangers living in it.
