About the room
The house was built in 1936 and has a lot of great original features! This is the upper unit, with the landlord living downstairs. The room itself is an OK size and small closet, but has its own little balcony peering over the backyard. Thereโs plenty of parking right by the house, but you also get one of the garage spots! Thereโs a free shared washer and dryer in the basement with space for storage if needed. I do have a lot of animals (dog, cats, bunnies) so as a trade off to have the living room/dining room for myself, I cover all utilities and pay the larger portion of the monthly rent. My animals all get along well with each other and love people, but I am looking for a roommate who does not have any pets of their own.
About the roomies
My name is Essie (they/them) and Iโm a non-binary lesbian, pro-choice and care deeply about social issues, 420 friendly (unfortunately no smoking/vaping/etc in the house due to animals), and go to therapy every week! I have a dog, 2 cats, 3 bunnies, and 1 tarantula. Iโve been living in this apartment for about 5 years now and Iโm looking for a new roommate starting June 1st who is responsible and cleans up after themselves. I would prefer to live with someone who is also neurodivergent and/or part of the LGBTQ+ community ๐
