I’m looking to share my very large two bedroom/two bath apartment in Ivy Hill in Oakland. I am about 7 to 8 blocks (depending on which direction you go) from Lake Merritt itself. The neighborhood is pretty safe. There is a bus line right in front of the building and with street parking available. As I mentioned the apartment is very large and it has a balcony overlooking the neighborhood. You can see the tall buildings of downtown Oakland in the distance. The bedroom is approximately 12’ x 12’ with a window and a large mirrored closet with more (shared) closet space in the hallway. There is a semi-private full bathroom. The bathroom is in the hallway so it would be the one guests would use if necessary.

I’m an aspiring novelist working, but I have a day job at a non-profit. Currently, I am working from home for the foreseeable future. :-) I’m pretty chill and laid-back (but not a push-over!) When I’m home, I’m usually reading, writing, or watching something. I’m friendly and like to talk, however, I like my alone time as well and am really good at picking up social cues if my roommate doesn’t want to talk. :-)
