Renting a room and private full bath! Both are on the bottom floor. With the exception of the washer and dryer next to the stairs and the landing, this entire floor will be yours. The basement has some storage space. Room is about 15’ 10“ x 10’ 11“, with some of the width recessed. Additionally, there are two closets, one walk-in. The bathroom has a full vanity and tub.

The townhome has a full kitchen area, and living and dining spaces. Each roommate has their own parking space. Nicely landscaped backyard. My bedroom and office are upstairs, so the personal areas are separated.

Total rent is $2,250/mo. The roommate share is $850/mo, plus 40% of utilities. Expanded cable TV and trash is included. Expect to pay about $950-975/mo total for rent plus water/sewer/electric/internet. 7-month lease through August 12th, 2024. A six-month extension beyond this is available. Security deposit is $850. This is refundable, depending upon the property condition at move-out. Tenant must be pass a background check and have a reliable means of paying rent and utilities. Tenant must carry renter’s insurance. Most likely no pets, may consider a cat with landlord approval, and additional deposit and rent fee.

Roommate must:

• Either hold or be at least two-thirds complete with a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Have a steady income that is, at least three times the monthly rent. No more than two job changes in the past 24 months.
• Primarily work outside of the home. Some telecommuting is okay.
• Have a credit score above 620.
• Be one person; no couples, no frequent overnight guests, and no kids.
• Not smoke, vape, or use any drugs. Reasonable drinking is okay.

I am a 38 y/o male, work as an engineer in the renewable energy and sustainability fields. I have B.S. and postgrad engineering degrees, and I just earned an M.S. degree in Data Science!

I have ties to Latin America and I visit the region often. I speak English and Spanish, and am becoming fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.

I work from home 3-4 days a week (Monday, Thursday, Friday, sometimes Wednesday) and I travel sometimes for work and personal reasons.
