I have a 2 bed/1 bath apartment in the Woodland Heights neighborhood and am looking to fill one room. The apartment is 1 of 2 in an old house—mine is the whole downstairs and there is one tenant who lives in the upstairs unit. The room is a nice size. It currently has a queen bed, a bookshelf, a dresser, a small dresser/nightstand, and a couple boxes as storage. All of that will be moved out to accommodate your furniture. The room is right off the kitchen. The unit has a large living room and large kitchen and the whole place will be furnished except your bedroom. There is a full-sized washer and dryer, gas range, fridge, microwave, and lots of cabinet storage in the kitchen. There’s a big, fully-fenced backyard with a big porch in the back and the property is pet-friendly with pet rent. I have two dogs so any potential pets will have to get along with them. There is a shed in the yard available for storing anything you need.

I’m 35 and have lived in Richmond for a total of three years. I work as a drafter for a renovation company and I work from home. I also occasionally watch my friends’ dogs when they’re out of town. I have two 35-pound dogs who are very friendly and who love other dogs. Cats are iffy but I think it could eventually work. I drink occasionally and I don’t smoke. I’d prefer a non smoker as a roommate. In my spare time I train for triathlons and read!
