A little about the house– It’s a 3 bed/2 bath two story house in Greenwood. Rent for the upstairs bedroom is $900 a month. The room downstairs is $925 a month. Utilities run around $130 mo. per person. Utilities include, gas, lights, internet, and a cleaner once a month. It’s a 6-month lease (no exceptions) and then it’s month-to-month. First and last month’s rent along with a security deposit equal to a month’s rent is due before move-in. This is also a $50 background check/application fee.

The house is 2 blocks away from Greenwood Ave, 10 minutes from Ballard, 1.5 miles from Greenlake, and about a 20-minute drive to downtown Seattle and University of Washington. We are near numerous bus lines.

The 2 bathrooms are shared. The house is currently fully furnished (except for your bedroom) and there is limited storage, so if you have lots of stuff this is not a good house for you. We are also a drug free/smoke free household (except for a little 420 now and then outside).

This is NOT a meat free household…at all…not even close…steak, bacon, bacon, bacon, chicken, bacon…did I mention bacon?

There is also yardwork involved during the year (mostly spring/summer). There is a weekly rotating cleaning schedule to keep things fair and peaceful for all.

I’m a woman in my 40’s who works from home for a local tech company. I LOVE to cook, drink wine, hangout with my dog, and pick up random ass hobbies (currently it salsa, yoga, and additional wine drinking). 😊 I have a boyfriend who stays over at times (he is equally as awesome as I am!). I have a big snuggly 80lb Goldendoodle that thinks he’s a lap dog so it’s important that this will bring you joy and not anxiety or stress. (At this time, we cannot accept any additional creatures).

This isn’t a party house, but I love entertaining now and then. I’m big on inclusivity and having a good relationship with my housemates. I also love to feed people! So, if you love cookies, I like you already!
