Clean-as-I-go, quiet, friendly and respectful non-smoking professional seeks similar to share this almost-quaint Uptown Whittier apartment in a 10-unit gated complex. Lots of cool places to eat and shop within walking distance! As a social scientist/professor, I spend a lot of time studying, grading and watching multimedia from home; the living room would be yours most of the time. I’d like to live with a busy employed professional like myself, and prefer someone in a service industry (e.g., teaching, nursing). We’ll have to re-sign a 12-month lease, and qualify. $800 includes everything: renter’s insurance, electric, gas, water, trash, wi-fi/cable - unless leasing office raises rent. Smoking isn’t allowed on premises. You’ll have your own pantry, your own room, quite a few storage areas, and full access to everything (including a 32“ HD TV) except my room. The apartment is upstairs; laundry facilities are right below; street view from balcony. I’ve lived here almost 3 years and plan to stay for at least 2 more. Girlfriend of many years stays over about 1-3 nights a month.
