Lyla's room

Located in Martin Park just a few blocks from University of Detroit Mercy the house is an artfully decorated 1925 Tudor. Very convenient to the Lodge and 75, and close to Livernois Avenue of Fashion restaurants.

Brand new renovated kitchen, the house is spacious room to entertain. In addition to the room, you’ll have access to a shared office, space for an art studio or workout area and storage in the basement, and an additional guest bedroom with a balcony. There are half Baths on the main floor and in the basement, shared bathroom on the second floor near the bedrooms.

The room is furnished with a queen sized bed and dresser but I’m happy to remove the furniture if you have your own. The paint in the room is also negotiable (the closet door has been painted to match the rest of the wall). It features three large bright windows and a cedar closet.

There is a fenced yard, room for gardening and a patio with a grill. The garage is better for storage than parking.

Open to well trained dogs but allergic to cats!

I’m interested in splitting the cost of a monthly cleaning to make things a little easier on shared duties.

I’m queer, in my mid-30s, an artist working in arts administration, hard left politically, and interested in jazz and improvised music.

Down for a glass after work and hosting gatherings together, ideally looking for someone who is comfortable to exist around. Shared condiments etc.
