Looking for a roommate to be my sole roommate in a 3000 sq foot 5 bedroom house in a gated community. My wife passed away 6 months ago, and as a fire fighter I’m gone 3-4 days out of the week and need someone to watch the house and take care of my dogs (when I am home I will do all caretaking of house and dogs).

You must love big dogs. The reason a room is this cheap in 3000 square foot house (that you’ll have to yourself 60% of the time) is that you must care for the dogs when I’m gone. They are both large loving Dalmatians that love to cuddle. Dog duties include walking them once a day and feeding each morning and evening as well as spending time with them on the couch and around the house (we are not looking for someone who exists in their room with the door shut 24/7).

You’ll have your own room with a semiprivate bathroom. My son comes home a time or two a month on the weekends and will share the bathroom when he is home. When he is not here he will not have any belongings on the bathroom sink. You’ll have full access to all common areas, laundry, backyard, and a large kitchen. Maid service provided once a month. No smokers, 420, or heavy drinkers please.

I am a 67 year old male fire fighter. I’m looking for someone who is clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I lead a quiet low-key lifestyle with few visitors and a chill atmosphere and would like someone similar. I would like a roommate that will spend time in the common spaces (not just in their room) to keep the dogs company.
