I’ve got a room to rent in my house in Hurst.

Here are some specifics:

The Room - The room is 13 x 10. The room has a self-contained AC/Heating system so you would be able to control the temperature in your room yourself. If you need room for storage, I have a large shed in the backyard that is available. The house only has one bathroom so we would be sharing. Though you’re welcome to use any room in the house, any furniture you have would need to stay in your room.

Location - The house is about half a mile from the Bell TRE train station off of Highway 10 so it has good access to highways (820, 121, 183).

My Expectations - I’m looking for another responsible, employed, no-drama, low-key person for a roommate.

The Rent - The rent is $900 a month plus a $400 deposit (all bills paid). The lease would be on a month-to-month basis. Must pass criminal background check ($50 refundable upon lease signing).

Me - I’m 37 years old, Army vet, grew up in East Texas but have been living in the mid-cities for about 10 years. I’m a friendly guy but I work a physically tough job so when I’m home I’m usually in my room sleeping (like a rock), watching a movie or gaming. I have three cats. I don’t really go out much except out to eat and to the movies with family and friends.
