Where I live is within very easy walking distance to pubs, coffee shops, a Target, a grocery store, and some nice restaurants. Safeway is a very short drive down the road, and the Cedar Hills shopping center is also not far away.

The room I am renting out is the master bedroom. The dimensions are 13’ by 10’, with an alcove under the window suitable for a small desk. You would have your own bathroom connected to the bedroom. The common areas are all furnished, but you would need to furnish your own room, as you can see from the pictures.

The rent will be $730 a month, plus utilities. Utilities would all be split down the middle: your half would range between $130-$155, depending on time of year - they tend to spike during the summer due to the AC running (utilities include internet, apartment utilities, and PGE). The security deposit to hold the room is $300. I will provide you with a receipt, and your security deposit will be returned to you upon move-out. The application fee for my apartment complex will be $50 to be paid directly to the apartment managers by either money order or cashier check - they do not accept personal checks.

We have a covered parking spot to take turns using, and there is plenty of uncovered parking available nearby. There is a laundry room a very short walk away from my apartment as well, which we use a code to get into. There is also a small gym in the adjacent apartment complex (owned by the same folks who own mine) which we have access to by key card.

I am a 30-year-old woman and work in a law firm just south of OHSU. I would like to find a roommate of similar age who is wanting a long-term living situation, who is financially responsible and respectful. I strongly prefer female roommate candidates. Clear communication and mature, responsible behavior is very important to me. I am friendly, but like to keep to myself and would hope that you would respect my space, as I would respect yours.

I prefer keeping common areas, especially the kitchen, clean and tidy. I have lots of kitchen gadgets and dishes that I’m happy to share, but kindly ask that you use them respectfully and take care of them properly (no dishes sitting in the sink, no metal in the non-stick pans, no torching my pans on the stove, etc.)

I am not a party-thrower, but I do occasionally have a friend over to watch a movie and have a meal. I do not drink, and our apartment is non-smoking. If you smoke cannabis, I would respectfully ask that you do not smoke in the apartment; please smoke outside. No kids, no couples, please; I am only looking for one person to move in. No dogs, but if you have a cat, that’s ok. There is a $50 pet deposit.
