We like to keep a generally clean house, though occasionally some dishes will pile up during the week (but are usually cleaned up by the weekend, especially if any guests are expected!). We share a lot of the same friends/coworkers and occasionally will have them over. You’re welcome to hang out with us if you want. Alcohol and weed are acceptable but no smoking in the house. The house is also fully furnished and your room can be mostly furnished if you want (i.e. we can provide a desk, closet hangers, pillow).

Parking would be on the street or driveway (have two driveway spots and usually ample street space). Some storage is available in the garage. Laundry and dryer in house. No pets allowed that would live primarily outside of your bedroom.

Hello! Michaela and I are engineers (29 and 25 yo) working at a battery startup in Carson City. We are both friendly, active people involved in a variety of different hobbies/activities at any given time.

In the summer, John likes to hike, bike, camp and generally be outside as much as possible. In the winter, he snowboards whenever he can and will occasionally boulder indoors until he has no energy left but to hangout inside and watch a movie. John likes to play music in the house but is respectful of times when quiet is needed. He is similarly very respectful of your space and will clean up a mess if it’s in your way and would expect the same of you, but is overall quite easy going. John moved down here from Canada 2.5 yrs ago now. You would share a bathroom (shown) with him.

Michaela likes to get out with friends as well and is often busy with various activities during the week like curling, skiing, etc. Michaela also likes to hike and camp or be at the lake in the summer. She is very kind but tends to keep to herself in a separated part of the house with her own bathroom. Michaela also moved to the area about a year ago.
