Chapel Street

In a two-floor room share apartment in Chapel Street Lofts apartment building (aka Wooster Lofts). You would have three other roommates that you split utilities with so you don’t pay too much on top of rent.

Everyone has their own bathroom, washer/dryer in unit, a large shared kitchen and living space as well as a smaller kitchenette upstairs. You would be taking over my lease which ends in July 2023 but you are welcome to renew and continue to live there after that. I’m trying to move into another apartment and would like to get out of here whenever is convenient. As of right now, March 1st seems to be a good date to make that happen but I’m flexible.

My room is on the second floor of the apartment and is on the corner of the building with 5 windows (including the bathroom window), beautiful lofted ceilings, a great bathroom, two closets in the room (one large, one small), and hardwood floors. You also have access to a gated in parking lot next to the building that uses a key fob to open.

The apartment building is on the same block as the on/off ramp for I-91 which is so nice for quickly getting out of town to go food shopping or anything else. It’s an easy walk away (a couple minutes) from some of New Haven’s best pizza (ie. Sally’s and Frank Pepe’s) in the Little Italy neighborhood right next to Wooster Square. Also not far from the downtown area of New Haven where there are more bars and restaurants. Ikea is also only a 5 minute drive away. If you don’t have a car there’s a convenient bus stop right next to the building.

Overall, it’s a great place for the price, I have no complaints. I know New Haven well enough to know that this room is a steal for $895. I just want to move out and live with a friend who wants to move here. I can’t do it until I have somebody to take over my lease. Message me and I’d be happy to show you the place!

Everyone in the apartment is really nice and mostly keep to themselves in their rooms. It’s 3 other women of varying ages. They are very open to conversations about apartment maintenance and I haven’t had any issues at all since I moved in last July. Everyone else in the building has also been very nice and the building manager Dena is very responsive to issues and helpful with everything.
