About the room
Take advantage of an unexpected opening in the booked-out Croydon Hall complex! My partner and I are relocating out of the state due to a medical emergency and will be breaking our lease starting around Feb 15, 2023. We are NOT looking for roommates. We just genuinely enjoyed the apartment and want to pass it into good hands and connect potential roommates if needed.
2 BED / 1 BATH / $1600 per month Utilities included are garbage and sewage. We pay for electricity and water about $40 a month.
Recently renovated with tons of light, this apartment has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, PVC and tile flooring, heating/AC unit in each room, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a rainfall shower head.
Walking distance to Baltimore Ave, UPenn, Drexel, local shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Only half a block from the 42 Bus Line, 2 Blocks from the 21 Bus Line, and 6 Blocks from the Market-Frankford Line Station at 46th & Market!
Originally founded in the mid-19th century as a “streetcar suburb” of Center City Philadelphia, this area is slightly quieter and less dense than nearby University City. The complex is full of grad students, young professionals, families, and pets.
Apartment Complex features: 24/7 front desk personnel and mail reception Secure, keyless entry Laundry Pet-Friendly Fitness center and bike room Lounge area with cable TV & Netflix, couches, dining tables, games Conference rooms and kids’ playroom Vending and coffee machines On-site storage units Street parking (no reserved spots, but loading zone available) Optional community events, food drives, and door decorating contests Outdoor courtyard with yard games, lounge chairs, gazebo, grill
Apartment features: Window AC unit in every room Microwave Oven Granite countertop with bar seating Dishwasher Fridge and freezer Electric stove
Other notes: Free Wi-Fi hotspot for Xfinity customers (no modem or router needed) There is some street noise, but we rarely if ever hear neighbors. Even within the apartment, there is significant noise dampening from room to room. Though there are elevators, the apartment is unfortunately not ADA accessible. There are three steps in the hallway leading to our door and three steps on the ground floor needed to access the garbage. Management is great and has been responsive to our few maintenance requests
Reach out if you are interested! Happy to answer any and all questions.
