Hello Everyone! I am searching for a new roommate to move into my apartment on March 1st. An early move in date can possibly be arranged.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT & ROOM The apartment is a two bedroom, one bathroom located on Wendell Street, just off of Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge. The bedrooms, living room, and dining room are very spacious. The kitchen and bathroom are smaller, but we have never had any issues with space.

We are located on the fourth floor, which provides a really nice view of Cambridge during all the seasons. There is laundry on the basement floor which operates through prepaid cards at $1.75/load. Heating is central and keeps the apartment very warm in the wintertime. There is a security door on the first floor.

Management is not located on site which provides a nice amount of privacy, however they do respond very quickly to maintenance requests.

The available bedroom measures 11.5 ft x 12 ft. It also comes with two closets which measure 4 ft x 2 ft and 2.75 ft x 1.5 ft.

LOCATION The location of this apartment is amazing! We are surrounded by resturants, bars, entertainment, and everything is super accessible. There is ample street parking and the local Red Line station is only a 12 minute walk from the apartment. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and safe. We are very close to Harvard and Lesley University, and there is an elementary school around the block. There are a lot of local parks including Cambridge common, a local community garden, and two other small parks within two blocks. A 10 minute walk in either direction will take you to Harvard Square or Porter Square and we also have a small market right across the street.

My name is Bridget. I’m originally from Southern California, but I’ve been living in Boston for the past two and a half years. I would decribe myself as easy going, social, and artsy. I enjoy cooking, listening to music and podcasts, making art, and growing plants. I graduated from University in 2022 and I am working full time on a startup.

I have two ferrets who live with me, Thor and Loki. They are super sweet and love people. They sleep around 16-18 hours per day and free roam the apartment when they are awake. They make little to no noise.

I tend to wake up early and stay up late, but I do not make a lot of noise and keep to myself. I work hybrid, sometimes from my desk at home, and other days in Boston or Wellesley.

I am looking for a female roommate who is quiet, clean, and organized, preferably with a full time job, or attending university. I like to keep the apartment tidy and I don’t have guests over very often. I would like someone who is comfortable and good at communicating so we can maintain a happy and healthy enviorment. Lastly, I’m looking for someone who is an animal person as there are pets in the home. I’m hoping to find someone similar to myself in these regards.
