Sublet Feb-Sept with option to renew!

Looking for someone to take over the second bedroom in my apartment in Lakeview. It’s on the first floor of the building with a small courtyard. Located 2 blocks away from the Diversey and Wellington Brown Line stops and a short walk to Belmont and Fullerton Red Lines. Many options for groceries are within close walking distance. There is coin laundry in the building and a locked storage area for the unit in the basement. You can also store your bicycle in the shared basement space.

Street parking in the area is pretty reliable. Lived here 12 years and haven’t had an issue.

Your half of the rent is $700. Gas and water are included. Comed runs around $80 monthly and internet is $60, which we would split. Also down to trade logins to various streaming services. There is no central air so you may want to get a window unit.

The bedrooms are almost exactly the same size, and yours is 10ft x 11ft with a large window. Plenty of room for a full/queen bed, dresser, desk and the like. You would also have your own decent sized closet in the hallway with plenty of hanging storage and room for folded items above. The place is fully furnished with the exception of your room.

You will need to apply through the management company to be added to the lease but I’ve had several roommates over the years and it has never been an issue getting anyone approved.

I’m a 37F, working early days M-F downtown. After work I may meet up with friends, put on a record at home and tidy up, work on a project, go for a walk, or read a book. My hobbies include woodworking, embroidery, puzzles/games, and caring for my plants.
