Hi,

My roommate had to leave suddenly. The room is nicely furnished but I can get rid of it if you’d prefer to use your own.

The Place: One year lease or possibly more… a sunny bedroom on the second floor of a sweet house in a great spot by the Merrimack River in Amesbury. Gas, electric, broadband internet and water are all included in the monthly rate. There is also a spare guest room on the same floor that you are welcome to use for storage or as a workout room when my daughter is not visiting, which she does a couple times a year. My room is on the opposite end of the house. The bathroom is shared and has a laundry. It is huge and so is the kitchen. There are also nice sized Living and Dining rooms. The house is newly renovated with a private driveway and a HUGE backyard next to Alliance park. The house is 1 mile to downtown Amesbury, I95 and I495, 4 miles to downtown Newburyport, and 5 Miles to Salisbury and Seabrook Beaches.

You: Man or woman (although my daughter would prefer a woman), but I’ve had great luck with both. I’m looking for someone that has regular work hours. NO SMOKERS. I clean the house once a month and expect you to help. I’m looking for someone considerate and respectful. Overnight guests are totally cool, but anyone staying longer than a week would have to donate to the cause.

Me: I am a 44 year old male currently building houses for a living. I like to read, watch good shows/movies, hike and other stuff. I usually cook dinner instead of ordering and I’d be happy to share in that regard. I have a few close friends and we are not big party people. I’m sincere and honest and will respect your privacy. I keep the place clean. You can’t eat off the floor more than once a week, but I don’t leave dishes in the sink overnight. My 19 y/o daughter will visit for a couple weeks every year. She is a lot like me in that she is very chill.
