West Chestnut Street

Important: Renting a spacious, non-furnished bedroom AND a separate office/studio room. That is two rooms total included. The apartment is the ground floor of a three apartment house built originally in the 1870s. The inside of the apartment has been renovated in the last 10 years, so it feels like new. Both have hardwood floors, high ceilings. The bedroom has a full wall of windows so a lot of natural light! Bedroom is roughly 12.5 x12.5 feet. Office is 10.5 x 10.5 feet. Living room, kitchen and bathroom are shared. With all rooms included the apartment is quite large, and works well for two solo adults. It never feels cramped or crowded. My roommate will be taking most of the furniture out of the living room, so there is plenty of space for furniture you might have that doesn’t quite fit in the bedroom or office. We are situated on a quiet street between the populated areas of mid-town and downtown. Stewarts, Walgreens, the Village Refillery, are a five minute walk in one direction. Downtown shops and stores are a 7 minute walk the other direction. No pets with the possible exception of a small-medium sized dog (landlord must approve). Non or minimal (outdoor) smoking. Weed is ok if smoked outside. Parking space included. The landlords are a charming couple who live in the house next door. They are very responsive and helpful when problems with the house come up.

I am a female identified artist/musician in her early 40s. I am a singer and songwriter, and do occasionally make some noise when “in studio” working on music. I am vaccinated, but I do bartend full time, unmasked. I also teach singing to a handful of students out of my studio room, but only 1-2 days a week for short periods of time.
