I have a small room for rent in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo near Federal Hill in Providence. The room is furnished with a twin bed and bookshelf/nightstand, and has a small closet. It’s on the 3rd floor (walk-up) and has central heat and air, an updated kitchen and bath, and shared pool during the summertime. Cute neighborhood, walking distance to coffee shops, acupuncture, a small park, and a couple of restaurants. Parking is street parking, but always abundant right outside the building. Kitchen is equipped with all you would need to cook most things.

Hi! I recently started a position at Harvard and am new to New England, so am still learning the area. At home, I’m on the quieter side and like to have my home as a place to decompress from the day. I enjoy a glass of wine and a TV show or the occasional dinner guest, and I’m happy to share a meal or conversation or have game nights, anything lower-key while in the apartment. I would like a similar vibe in a roommate. I am hybrid, so WFH 3 days a week and go into the office 2 days. I have a 2 young female cats who are very social and friendly, and would love to cuddle forever with the nearest human; they don’t spray or claw furniture. Kitchen-wise, I do eat in often but am not an elaborate cook. I’ve lived with roommates previously so am practiced at keeping common areas clean and being respectful of shared spaces, though my room will be messy most likely and I am not hyper-concerned with keeping the space spic and span, though I do like general cleanliness in common areas. In my free time I love museums, finding new restaurants to try, bingeing TV series, traveling, trying out new classes or activities, and going to live shows. I’m cannabis-friendly (though would prefer any heavy smoking to be outside), politically liberal, and will occasionally have an out-of-town guest or two when friends and family come to visit, but that will be rare.
