South 24th Street

We are looking for a third housemate to take over the large main, 3rd floor bedroom with private bathroom and walk-in-closet available in a modern 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 2200sqft townhouse in the great neighborhood of Point Breeze.

The first floor of the house has 9ft ceilings, hardwood floors, and lots of great natural light. There is a large modern kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, garbage disposal, a pantry, a center island, and a breakfast bar. The house also has a fully finished basement with a half-bathroom and space for home gym and/or guest room, a fenced in back patio that is great for outdoor dinners, and a 3rd floor roof deck. There are two large bedrooms (14’ x 12’) on the second floor and a larger main bedroom on the third floor with en suite private bathroom. The second floor has a walk-in laundry room and a full bathroom. The house has central A/C with a smart thermostat, a security system, and plenty of free street parking.

Main Bedroom The available spacious main bedroom (main space 14’x14’) on the third floor has its own large private bathroom with a double sink and a large walk-in rain shower, walk-in closet, and a second standard closet. The bedroom has a large bay window that lets in lots of natural light. The carpet in the room was replaced last yera year and there are new top-down bottom-up blackout blinds installed. This bedroom is $999/month + shared utilities (water, gas, and electric). The room is available as early as July 15th. The first set of attached bedroom and bathroom pictures are of this available master bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

There are two other housemates. The first housemate has been in the house for 2 years and just renewed for another year.. She absolutely loves the house including the modern kitchen and back patio and enjoys the neighborhood. She works from home 1-2 days a week. She is a neat/clean person and enjoys the gym (she has a great home gym set up in the basement!). The other housemate in the other 2nd floor bedroom has been in the house for 6 months and is also renewing his lease. He is a marine biologists who enjoys hiking, biking, photography, and board games. He also enjoys cooking and loves a clean and well-stocked kitchen. Both housemates enjoy the occasional house dinner party or game night, but also have respect for each housemates’ privacy and personal space. A zoom or in-person tour can be scheduled both to see the room and meet the current housemates.
