About the room
We have 1 of 2 bedrooms in the house Iβm renting available May 5th. The house is located in the SW Hillsdale area. There are upstairs and downstairs living rooms, a kitchen, backyard, laundry room, and 2 bathrooms. This usually means thereβs quite a bit of room to spread out. In addition to this, there is a one car garage with lots of space for projects and other things. There is a full bath upstairs, and a downstairs 1/2 bath through the garage. Washer and dryer are on site, with lots of built in storage in the utility room. There is central heating and air, but no AC. Quiet family neighborhood close to downtown and various schools. Currently 1 of 2 rooms of different sizes are available. Slightly different price points for each to accommodate the size difference but otherwise similar.
While there are no pets allowed, a roommate did talk the landlords into letting him take on a hedgehog at one time.
Rent is ~$666.66 each (varies with room) with a 3 way split (total house rent is $2000). Tenants are responsible for electric, water, gas, garbage, and internet. The utilities combined are around $110 per person during the warmer months, and $150 when itβs colder out. There is a move in deposit that is ~$1000, and a $25 application fee (to landlord). The landlords prefer a year lease but would probably accept 6 months, after that it is month to month. The room is for a single occupant only, and no short term stays. A lot more to see than pictured here - if you want any further pictures just let me know. Current occupants are 2, 30-something men looking for a third to split rent with. Lifelong Portland resident, 420 friendly.
House is close to OHSU, Lewis and Clark, PSU, and PCC.
If interested please give some description of yourself, what you do, etc. Happy to give tours of the place or send pictures. Feel free to ask anything you may need clarification on or wonder about.
