I have 1 room available in my house. I own the house and I am a real estate broker so I would technically be the landlord as well. The room has a shared bathroom in the hallway, there’s already another girl for the other room. I have the primary suite. The common areas are fully furnished and equipped. Rent of $900/month includes water and wifi. The electric bill would be split evenly 3 ways according to usage per month. There is street parking 1-2 minutes walking at the corner of the street the house is on. The house has a security system. Each bedroom has its own lock and key for privacy.

You would just need to furnish your own bedroom. All utensils and appliances are available for use but everyone has their own food, toiletries and cleaning supplies. Paper towels in the kitchen would be a shared cost.

The security deposit is $900 to reserve the room, after submitting an application with background check, which is paid directly to a 3rd party platform and costs about $50 or less. Rent can start as early as January 3rd. I prefer a 6 month lease, renewable if desired between both of us. To qualify, the monthly income must be at least 3x the rent amount and you have to provide proof of income (tax returns or pay stubs depending on salary or contractor employment type).

What I’m looking for in a roommate is someone who is very clean and organized. My house looks like a model home pretty much at all times, and I like to keep it as such. There’s nothing personalized on the walls or anything in any of the common areas, just non-personal decorations. I am very clean and organized myself. Everything I use goes back into it’s place immediately after.

I am 29 years old and I have a flexible work schedule as I own my business. I’m usually home unless I have meetings elsewhere. I prefer to share the house with women who are in their 20s or early 30s to ensure better compatibility in lifestyles.
