Searching for a compatible roommate to share charming two-bedroom apartment in NE Seattle (Maple Leaf/Northgate) with me & my cat. Quiet location, one block from bus line and 20-minute walk from Northgate light-rail station. Bus goes directly to UW campus. Street parking close by. You would have your own bedroom, unfurnished; common spaces (LR, DR, kitchen, bathroom, back porch) are fully furnished. Apartment has A/C. Laundry room in basement is shared with two additional tenants of another unit. No smoking or vaping indoors. Monthly payments would be $1100 of rent + ½ of utilities. Ideal move-in date is Sept 1, but there is some flexibility to move in before or after that date.

Me: Mid 50s higher-education professional. Work at home 2-3 days per week. Have experience living with roommates of various ages, backgrounds, and identities. Fluent in English and semi-fluent in Spanish. Seeking a responsible and reliable individual to equitably and respectfully share living space, rental expenses, and household chores. I’d also prefer a roommate who likes cats and is open to establishing a friendship that evolves organically.
