Hi All! I am seeking an ideal tenant to sublease my bedroom inside a two-bedroom unit (ground floor), no living room space, with full backyard starting January 1s 2023! I am open to short-term or long-term. Minimum is 3 months and maximum is one year, with the possibility of renewing the lease. Ideally, you are a responsible female who likes to take care of your home. Please know that the only reason this place is for a female and not male is because the other tenant is a female and generally, she would feel most comfortable living with someone who is the same sex. Currently, I am living here with my best friend who is a very responsible and hard-working 29 year old female. She is the most clean person I know, and I feel very gifted to live with her. If you see any dishes in the photo it’s because that was my doing. She owns a cat (Suszie), who is clean and doesn’t bother anyone unless you make the initiative to cuddle with her. My roommate is barely home. It’s usually always quiet and peaceful here which is perfect for my creative mind. The room you would be subleasing is currently my home studio where I make art and music. It’s spacious (13’ 10“ x 10’ 6“) but the closet is located in a hallway outside of the apartment near the laundry room. The kitchen is fully renovated. The shower-head has a filter with beads that remove chlorine and other chemicals from the water which helps your hair and skin be softer. You can choose the level of heat you’d like for the home. We don’t pay for heat, but electricity and gas is separate which comes out to 150 a month (split between you and my roommate it would be 75 each). The ConEdison bill is currently under my name. I can switch it over to your name or my roommates name. We have two Wifi Networks - You can use a free one that is from the Landlord upstairs and the connection is good enough OR If you want access to the Verizon Fios Network that would be an extra 30. My roommate pays 60 for it. The laundry room machines are being switched out for new ones. The landlord lives upstairs in the second floor, and he is always ready to help with any needs regarding the apartment! You have one free parking space that you do not need to pay extra for (it is included in the rent so you aren’t paying extra for it neither). In the photos the Nissan parked out front is mine so your car could go there or in the other slot. No one else in the house has a car so it would be your choice. The neighborhood is great with lots of parks and a supermarket right around the corner. There are many temples in this area as well. The lease is under my name, and I am traveling out of the country so I will need someone who is reliable and always on time with payments. We are respectful and peaceful people so we ask that you be the same.
