Hi there! I am looking to find a roommate to take over a lease in a quaint two bedroom/one bath Heritage Hill Home. The location is amazing and right near Martha’s Vineyard, Lyon Street cafe, and the Children’s hospital. The house is split into two apartments and this one is on the lower level. The apartment has a fenced in backyard with a patio and one off-street parking space. My roommate is moving out mid-January and I will be applying fresh paint to the space. It can also come furnished if needed. There is on-site laundry and utilities are relatively inexpensive.

The lease ends on June 1st, but there is the possibility of renewal.

I am a 32 year old teacher and I also serve at a restaurant on the side. I stay very busy and am not home too often. If I am home, I love to hang out on the patio or watch a tv series. I am very social, so a roommate that can also be a good friend would be ideal. I would also love to find a professional that is of similar age, but I can be flexible as long as you are considerate and respectful of the shared living spaces :)

I will also have a dog that will be around occasionally (I watch him while my ex is out of town for work). He is 3 years old and loves butt scratches. Unfortunately, the landlord will not allow more pets and only one person can take over the lease (so no couples or those with children).
