TWO rooms in East Arlington available in a huge beautiful house for one person (private bedroom plus bonus room that you can use for office or separate living space, etc.) Nature, walking and hiking paths, and plentiful parks are all close in the area. Minutes to Cambridge, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Shop and Stop, gas station, liquor stores, library, post office, and one block from Mass Ave. 5 minutes to Arlington Center. 10 minutes to Alewife Station, on the Red Line. Easy, quick access to Davis, Porter, Harvard, Central, etc. You will have full access to the kitchen and your own bathroom, as well as full access to a huge, common-space living room. Your two rooms, your bathroom, kitchen, and living room are all on the same floor (2nd floor). Kitchen is huge. Washer and dryer are in the basement. The landlord and his mother live on the first floor. You will be taking over half of the lease for the current housemate that is moving out- lease starts when you move in, and ends July 31, 2023. Myself and two teenage daughters are on the third floor. I am a mid-40s graduate student. We moved here from California. The second floor is like having your own apartment/floor with a shared kitchen. This is a vegetarian home (dairy and eggs ok). No parties or drugs, no overnight guests. Prefer other graduate students or professionals. My girls are gone during M-F daytime for school, but an ideal arrangement is someone who leaves in the afternoon and evenings for school or work, so we aren’t bumping into each other in the kitchen all the time. Looking for someone quiet and respectful, financially secure (with pay stubs to prove income) and excellent credit and rental history. Landlord will run a credit and background check.
