I’m looking for a someone to take over my portion of the lease starting February 1st for a room in a 2-bed, 1-bath unit. My flatmate (female) would ideally prefer to have another female flatmate to live with. We are located in the heart of Chelsea with plenty of dining options near by, and close to the 1/2/3 and A/C/E subway stations <5 min walk away. The room is pretty large and the apartment has plenty of natural light. Being on the top floor, it is more quiet and the air quality is quite nice as well.

Living room and kitchen will be furnished with stocked pantry for those who like to cook. Bedroom comes unfurnished by default but can be furnished at additional cost. Rent would be $2,200 a month - electric and utilities not included. Landlord would require security deposit equal to 1 month of rent, as well as standard credit check and income threshold.

We are young professionals originally from NJ - I work in Finance, and my roommate works in the digital media / activism space. We are very chill and outgoing people and are rarely stuck in the apartment, which is why we chose Chelsea to live in. I’m listing my room because I need to leave for work.
