About the Room: The room available for rent is located in a large single family home that has been converted into apartments. It is 2 blocks away from Lake Eola. Our apartment is the entire top floor, although the entrance is at ground level. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a small living room, and a kitchen. The room for rent is 8’6 by 9’4. It has two windows, a closet, and ceiling fan. It also comes with a twin bed frame and mattress that we are willing to keep in the room for the use of whoever rents, but it can also be removed if necessary. There is a washer and dryer free to use on property that we share with the couple that lives in the neighboring apartment. There is parking in a small lot behind the building. There is also street parking.

About the Cost: The base rent for the room is $425/month which includes water and trash. The other utilities not included are wifi, electricity, and pest control. If you add in a third of the bills for wifi, pest control, and the highest electricity bill we have ever gotten, it’s likely that total rent + utilities for this room would not exceed more than $588/month.

About Us: We’re just two queer baristas looking for someone to fill our apartment’s third room. We are both nonbinary. One of us is 25 and the other is 28. We get along with each other pretty well, although we tend to keep to ourselves and don’t exactly hang out. One of us has a timid, very sweet cat. Neither one of us minds when the other has guests over as long as there is prior notification. We don’t normally have big gatherings at our place. Neither one of us really drinks frequently or smokes, but we are not uncomfortable with casual drinking/smoking.

We are seeking someone who is 23 or older, has a stable, verifiable way to pay rent/utilities, and has either no pets or a gentle dog that would get along with/not chase the resident skittish cat.
