I am a 33-year-old high school teacher and I am looking for a roommate, ideally starting 1/1/23. Unfortunately, my current roommate is moving back home (would love to vouch for me as a roomie if needed). The apartment is fully furnished (by me). It is on the 3rd floor of a recently renovated walk-up on Franklin Ave in Crown Heights. There is central air, a dishwasher, laundry in the basement, and a great internet connection through Fios. The available bedroom has a large closet, a bed with a queen-size Casper mattress, a fold-away desk, and a bookshelf that can also fit behind the door (all can stay or go). It can also fit a desk and/or small dresser. Your half of the rent would be $1469.21. I have a cat who is quite shy but very well-behaved. I am neat and organized. I speak English and Spanish.
