The apartment is a 2-story, 2 bed 1.5 bath located in a very quiet, safe, and clean neighborhood near Spring Garden Park and is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive from Multnomah Village. The two bedrooms and full bath are upstairs while the half bath, storage spaces, living room, and kitchen are downstairs. There’s also a front porch area where we could have outdoor furniture. The apartment has wood floors throughout and has modern appliances/aethestic in the kitchen and bathroom. The apartment has heater’s in each room in the house, but there is no central AC so I suggest having a window (vertical/sliding) unit for the summer months. There isn’t a washer or dryer inside our apartment, but the apartment’s laundry facility is a very close walk. It does operate on quarters only though and costs $2.00 per load. The apartment is also very close to Barbur Blvd and I-5 so getting to other areas of the city can be pretty quick. I can drive to most places in Downtown, the Pearl, or inner SE/NE in 15 minutes. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for somewhere less hectic than other parts of the city, but still want to be fairly close to areas where there is a lot to do.

I need a roommate that will be on the lease and I am aiming to do a one year lease so our rent is as cheap as possible ($937.50 for one year lease vs. $962.50 for 6 month lease). Since you will need to be on the lease, you must willing be to do a background check, credit check, and submit proof of income.

The previous roommate did have a cat in case you are severely allergic.

My name is Jordyn and I’ve been at this apartment since October 2021. I am very easy going, quiet, respectful, friendly, and clean. I am the type of roommate that tends to become friends with my roommates, but I definitely keep to myself as well and don’t expect you to hang out with me. I am looking for someone who is also easy to get along with, financially reliable, considerate, quiet, and cleans up after themselves. I am not going to pretend like I am some sort of clean freak, but our place is kept tidy at the bare minimum and I want each of us to be adults and promptly clean up after ourselves on a regular basis. I work in the food industry and enjoy cooking so I do spend a bit of time in the kitchen as well when I am home. I work a typical 9-5PM, Monday through Friday, schedule and occasionally work from home too so I want a roommate that does respect this type of schedule and doesn’t keep me up night on week days. I naturally tend to stay up around midnight most nights and sometimes later on weekends if I go out, however, I am very quiet at home when I am up late at night. I do drink occasionally, but I don’t do other drugs anymore or smoke cigarettes. I rarely have friends over but that’s more because we don’t currently have a couch or anything to relax on for multiple people. I am definitely not opposed to having people over on occasion but I do like having a quiet place most of the time. The apartment complex is very quiet in general too so I don’t want a roommate who will make us the frequently loud neighbor. If I am not at home or work then I’m usually out at the gym, hiking, out with friends, doing something food/drink-related, or at a music event.
