About the house: Located in a lovely neighborhood near Altura Park, our spacious mid-century modern home is 8 minutes from UNM North Campus (12 from Central Campus) and 5 minutes from Whole Foods + Smiths. The living area has an open floorplan with concrete floors and a fireplace connecting the dining and living room, and a wall of windows letting in tons of natural light. There’s also a second living area in the back with brick floors that’s about to undergo light remodeling (electrical and painting). Remodeled kitchen includes convection stove, quartz countertops, and comes stocked with dishware, pots and pans, and small appliances.

About the room: 180sqft of space (15x12) with a medium closet, hardwood floors, and skylight. Internal location in the home keeps the room cooler in the summer + warmer in winter. Remodeled bathroom with your own sink shared with one housemate is just outside your door. We will be newly painting it during the Holidays.

About the housemates: The owners are two graduate students in our late-twenties and a sweet dog who love to climb when we’re not studying. Young professionals and graduate students are preferred, and keeping shared spaces clean is important. Applicants of all racial/ ethnic backgrounds are welcome and we are LGBTQ friendly. The other housemate is a physical therapist who has an emotionally needy, but very soft, cat, and there’s a postdoc who lives in a casita just outside the house.
