Quiet area. The house backs up to a pond so the noisy neighbors are the geese and ducks.

The room can be partially furnished (queen bed and medium dresser) or bring your own. I have a laundry unit in the house. You can park in the driveway. You will have your own bathroom. Wifi is available. And the rent includes utilities.

No pets please. I already have one cat (indoor/outdoor). One other person is renting another bedroom. We both work full time. I work from home 2 days a week.

I prefer no overnight guests, but we can talk about special circumstances. No smokers or other illegal drugs allowed on my property. I am a federal employee and my neighbors are county police, so zero tolerance in this area. You must be willing to sign a lease or other type of less formal written agreement. I am willing to negotiate the monthy rent amount if you would be willing to do house repair work. You must bring your own tools, though.

I typically get along with anyone. The exception would be the extremely sensitive types. The occasional F-word slips out. And I won’t apologize for being comfortable in my own home.

I would love to rent to a strong communicator and someone who does not need a lecture on what “common courtesies” mean. I don’t have the patience to baby-sit, micromanage or feel unsafe in my house.
