41st Street

The room: about 11’ x 12’, has a sliding door closet, and comes unfurnished. The room is on the farthest end of the house and shares a wall with the bathroom, the window looks out into the garden and the door opens into the kitchen.

The house and neighborhood: We’re the bottom unit of a duplex. There are 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath, 2 of the 4 rooms are currently occupied and the smallest room has been used as a home office. There will be a total of 3 of us living here. Coin-op and app based pay washer/dryer on site. Mini garden (shared with upstairs neighbors). Ample free street and driveway parking. Rotating chore chart for common areas (living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom). There are currently no pets that live here. cats are ok. unfortunately dogs are not due to allergies. Household items are split evenly among everyone and are bought in bulk via costco. We pay pg&e, water, and internet, the landlord pays garbage.

Accessibility info: the house is on ground level, there is one step down to the bathroom, and a step to get into the bedroom. the house is on the same block as the F, 57, 88 bus lines, and is 0.4 miles to MacArthur Bart. We are not a scent free home and up until recently had cats living in the house.

We are still cautious about COVID-19! One of us has an autoimmune condition and can not work from home, getting sick will cause a health and financial burden. covid protocols: +Taking off shoes once we get home, we have a shoe rack next to the front door. This is also just for general cleanliness. +We are not having gatherings over at this time. (partners, family, and close friends are ok with a heads up!) +Masking in crowded indoor public areas (grocery stores, shopping, concerts, etc). +If traveling or going on vacation, isolating when returning until a covid test is taken and is negative. +We are all vaccinated and boosted and hope you are too! +These protocols are fluid and reflect the transmission rate at the time. If you have accessibility needs or would like to see us do anything different we are up for have a discussion about it :)

N: 25, ♋️, loves books, art, and pop culture. works at a science education nonprofit and on the weekends, spends time exploring the bay or playing video games

We do not smoke except for the occasional 420, drink socially, but nothing harder than that. We generally keep to ourselves but have gone out for trivia night, share homemade meals, and watch tv together! We are looking for someone who is low key, can communicate effectively, cleans up after themselves and generally like to keep their space clean, and meshes well with us!
