Monroe Street

We are looking for a single roommate and are renting out two bedrooms (potential for home office) with access to a private bathroom. Utilities not included.

The historic two story home is located in the desirable City Park neighborhood on a quiet, tree-lined street, near Colfax and Colorado Blvd. The rooms for rent are bathed in natural light, and each contain a sizable closet. The home has a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, and living room with a mounted TV and lounge worthy deluxe depth leather couch. The home is filled with eclectic decor and plants galore. You will feel right at home in our jungle oasis in the city. There is a finished basement and space in the detached garage available to store any items you may need to bring with you. There is a backyard with a patio deck and a propane grill. Our neighbors are all kind, respectful middle-aged adults.

The home is located directly across the street from a Sprouts grocery market, as well as our favorite brewery, Cerebral, and the best brunch spot, Fox Run. Colfax is lined with breweries, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and funky boutiques that are all within walking distance. City Park is one block away. It’s a dream location in a truly great city.

This is our first home and we have put a lot of love and labor into it. We are looking for a responsible, clean, considerate individual to take the place of our previous roommate, who is moving to another state.

We are an engaged couple in our 30’s. I am in grad school, and my partner, Russ, works from home as an accountant. We enjoy working out, sports, movie nights, cooking, listening to music, and socializing with friends. On the weekends, you can find us at concerts, snowboarding, hiking, camping, and relaxing at home. Kindness, integrity, trust, respect and honesty are our most important values.

Ideal roommate: similar values, clean and considerate of common spaces in the house, and an open communicator. We are pretty tame on weeknights and would like to live with someone who has a similar lifestyle. We would like to maintain a calm and peaceful space, so no parties, but small gatherings are welcomed.
