Renting a large room in a farmhouse in Grafton. Large sunny windows, lots of rooms I don’t use and you can have your pick.

I am a professional working at the Medical College of Wisconsin and I work virtually from home. My son attends Cedarburg High School and is a straight A student, responsible, quiet and funny! So far he has not had any friends over as we have a Siamese cat and his best buddy has allergies. So it would just be my son and I, not a hoard of teenagers! I take him to school at 7:30 AM, and I’m usually on my lap top working by 8-8:30. We are pretty quiet overall. There are guitars, hand drums and ukes in the house, and my son is learning Indian flute. We have a large outdoor firepit that is amazing to see under the pines with the stars above. The driveway is long and you cannot really see the house or property from the road, but it is right off Port Wash road with interstate 43 access, Meighers and Target within walking distance.

Place is fully furnished, expect for your bed and dresser. I have extra desk, office chair, lamps and anything else you may need. I love to cook and the kitchen is fully stocked…make that well-stocked!

Caveat is that there is only 1 bathroom, with a tub and shower. I usually take baths before bed, and my son squeezes them in whenever. As our renter, we’d actually make sure you get priority in terms of when you need to shower and we’ll work around it.

My son and I have had roomies before, UWM students and it worked out great!!
