Hi everyone, I’m looking for someone to take over my lease starting December to June 23rd. The lease is for an unfurnished one bedroom and a den at Brookland Press Apartments in DC for $1843/month not including utilities. The apartment has a floor to ceiling window and the den is big enough to put a twin bed. The whole apartment is hardwood floors. We have an in unit washer/dryer, a garbage disposal, a dishwasher. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the metro, a 7 minute walk to a movie theater, and an 8 minute walk to Giant Food. The amenities include a nice gym, a studio, a pool, a dog washing station, community rooms, a rooftop, grills, a game room, a bike storage, a dog park, and a front desk that can hold packages. The building is pet friendly. There is parking available for a fee but you can park on the streets nearby. I had to pay $500 for security deposit but that depends on your credit. I’m a 25 year old Software Developer who works from home most days. The neighbors are really nice. If you decide to take over this lease you would have the place for yourself.
