About the Place:
Beautiful late model home in San Marcos’s Discovery Lake neighborhood. Less than a block from the discovery lake web of hiking trails (and the Lake itself is less than a mile).
All amenities were completely redone in 2017 and are top notch! All fixtures are 5 years old or less. All lighting uses modern dimmer controls and recently painted, recarpeted.
The garage has a home Gym, and the yard is gigantic and perfect for cook outs and holiday gatherings.
What you’ll get:
8x10 spotless room w/walk in closet and street facing window on the 2nd floor, + your own full bathroom.
Loft space adjoining the room is also available for a little extra $$ (ask if interested)
About the roomies
40 year old male home owner, with sweet 5 year old white Lab named Gracie Bear. Busy professional who lives alone except for the dog and works from his home office. Looking to rent out space in his too-big-for 1 man-and-a-dog house.
Looking for a tenant who’s clean and respectful and pays their bills on time. Pretty flexible beyond that.
I don’t mind social gatherings, in fact I love them, but am also far too old to be awakened by loud noises at 3 am on a Wednesday. Life is all about balance right?
Stay over guests are no problem (we’re all adults here), but keep it within reason (like 3x per week max). My one limitation to my tenant search is I’m really only looking for ONE roomie, be they young or old, male or female, black, white, brown, gay, straight, whatever. I just don’t want a couple (I think for obvious reasons).
Open to short term rentals or up to 1 year lease terms, depending on tenant preference. Will ask for first and last month’s rent.
