• 1 private, fully furnished bedroom in our beautiful 3-bedroom North Berkeley home!
• The room is on the first floor. Spacious room with a full-sized bed. Great natural light. Built-in closet with plenty of shelves. Flat-screen TV. Full shared bathroom just around the corner with a large walk-in shower and separate tub. -In-unit washer and dryer just down the hall!

About the house

• The shared spaces of the house include a large, fully-furnished kitchen and a large backyard deck right along a beautiful creek!
• There is ample street parking and covered space for bike parking.

About the area

• It’s a quick bike ride to UC Berkeley campus (also easily accessed by the nearby 52 bus and North Berkeley BART Station).
• 1 minute walk to Westbrae Beer Garden, Coffee Conscious coffee shop, Kiku sushi, Berkeley Natural Grocery and more! ~0.5 miles to Solano Avenue with numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and businesses (including Peet’s coffee, Starbucks, Safeway and Andronico’s grocery stores) ~0.5 miles to shopping plaza on Gilman with Whole Foods, REI, Walgreen, Chipotle, and more! ~0.5 miles to Hopkins Street shops including Monterey Market organic grocery store, Hopkins Street bakery, Gioia pizzeria, and Akemi sushi.

We are a couple in our early-30s and live with our playful, friendly Australian Shepherd dog named Touca. We are both doctors and work long and variable hours. When we’re home, we like to bake, do crossword puzzles, and host intimate dinners with friends. We are looking for someone who is respectful and easygoing. We would love to share our kitchen and deck spaces with you (although food and groceries will be separate). Our (Drew and Anya’s) TV and couch share a room with the open-concept kitchen, but your TV will be in your room so you’ll have it all to yourself! The downstairs bathroom will primarily be yours but when we have guests visiting or staying with us, they will have access to it as well.

Utilities will be split evenly between the three of us and usually come to about $90/month.
