About the room

Let’s cover the basics first: You get the primary bedroom (12’x14’) in a 4bd/2ba house. It’s located at the end of the house furthest from the living room and kitchen (read: greater privacy and distance from common area). One bedroom is a converted space (more on that in a bit), so you’re sharing the house with only two other guys. The home was renovated about one year ago and has all new fixtures, including dishwasher, stacked washer/dryer, central air and heat, and more. Add to this that one of the roommates is a gadget nerd, so you can ask Google to vacuum or mop any room, or change the setting on any of the 41 Philips Hue lights throughout the home. The 65“ tv comes with a soundbar and subwoofer, so expect Hans Zimmer scores to rumble the floor every now and then on movie nights.

Now about us and that converted room….

About the roomies

You’d be moving in with two sex positive kinky (mostly) gay guys—friends, not a couple. One’s essentially a nudist, and sometimes guests walk (or crawl!) around in various states of undress. We’re not going to hide the fact that the fourth bedroom 1) will never be rented out to a tenant, 2) is affectionally referred to as “The Dungeon,” 3) has a ton(!) of bondage/kink gear, and 4) gets used pretty extensively. (If we did try to hide it, the sounds emanating from there would quickly give it away…). We’re happy to chat with anyone about the room regardless of gender, orientation, etc., but if this paragraph makes you uncomfortable, please consider whether it sounds like a match or not.

In addition to being kinky, we both love a game night, relatively early bed times, quiet hours (especially during the week!!), a clean home (no one should have to clean up after you), and general nerdy fun. Both of us are working professionals: one of us is a videographer and former park ranger (hiking and nature forever), and the other is in tech with a history as a musical theatre pianist (quarterly cabaret nights are going to be a thing here).

The landlord requires an income/credit check. There might eventually be a doggo, so you should be pet-friendly. Look forward to hearing from you!

Final notes:

  • 1/3 of internet and utility bills will be added to rent

  • a small car and adept driver can have a secured parking spot; a wide car or a timid driver means you’ll be doing street parking

  • your bedroom is empty, but the common area is already furnished, except for a dining table. If you want to bring any common area furniture, we’re open to discussing.
