V Street Northwest

Hi! I’m subletting my room in a large cosy and relaxed shared house in Bloomingdale. The monthly rent is $1110 with ~$100 in monthly utilities plus an initial 1 month deposit. The sublease itself would run from Dec 1st 2022 to Aug 31st 2023.

The room itself is relatively spacious (see pictures) with a closet. You’d be sharing the bathroom with a very clean and chill housemate on the second floor.

The shared areas include a small spare room, a large dining area, living room with fireplace, and kitchen. Sadly no pets are allowed.

The area itself is well connected: plenty of bus lines and a metro station within a 15 minute walk. There are restaurants, convenience stores, yoga, bouldering gyms all in the vicinity. Street parking is always available here. There’s also a cute little secret park tucked away just a block from the house.

As for roommates, the house is occupied by two lively and friendly professional women in their late 20’s/early 30’s. One works for a nonprofit with refugees, and the other works on combating disinfo in domestic news. We respect each others’ space and keep the common areas clean. Occasionally we will hang out together and grab dinner, drinks, throw a house party, etc.
