Ciara's room

The room itself is pretty spacious (a former roommate of mine managed to fit a queen size bed, a desk, a larger dresser, and bookcase into it and still had plenty of room). It has a wide window with blinds, vinyl wood floors, great closet space (there is a closet in the dining area that you’re also welcome to use if you need more space), and a recent paint job (in the last year or so). The apartment is also pretty roomy (and we can rearrange my furniture around to make room for anything you’re bringing with you). I’m a really clean person, but I do have three cats and a chinchilla so at times there are messes from them, but I manage to stay on top of that so that you won’t ever have to worry about cleaning up after them or dealing with that. The neighborhood is really close to the highway and they manage to do a pretty good job of plowing and clearing the roadways in the winter for those who also commute to campus/work. The kitchen has all the appliances (dishwasher, stove/oven, fridge, etc.) as does the shared bathroom. I also pay very little for utilities (water is included!), including gas/heat in the winter when it can get really cold and pricey around here. I will tell you, however, that my cats can be noisy, and they will definitely make noise around 4:30/5 a.m. when I get up to feed them. There’s a couple of them that do fight at times, but they are mostly very well behaved and quiet. If you aren’t okay with animals, this probably isn’t the apartment for you. I’m also a busy graduate student so I do need to apartment to be a chill place in the evenings and on weekends. That said, I’d love to answer any questions you have so feel free to reach out!

I’m a PhD student/graduate student at UB so I’m gone a lot during the day, but probably will be home on weekends most of the time. I am an enthusiastic and extroverted introvert who likes to chat and hang out, but I’m not much for parties or going out. I like to read, write, go running, and hang out with my kitties. I’m one of those people you don’t have to be friends with for us to get along, I’m perfectly happy just have a great co-existing roomie. :) <3 Thanks!
