Southeast 65th Avenue

I have a 2br 1.5ba apartment/duplex in the fun and happening area of Foster-Powell. This place is truly a gem! The entrance is on the ground floor with your own free parking spot right outside the door! It’s technically an apartment but it feels more like a townhouse, there’s only 4 units, two entrances in the front, two entrances in the back(us). The apartment itself is 2 stories. The ground floor (kitchen, half bath, living and dining room) is hardwood/tile and the upstairs is carpet(bedrooms, laundry, full bath). We mostly interact with our neighbors in the unit next to us who are a really nice, friendly and quiet. Across the street is a recording studio in an old building that’s kind of coo, and I don’t really hear them at all. The neighborhood is actually very quiet considering there are plenty of bars, coffee shops and stores a couple blocks away. If you like gardening there’s land on the side where I’ve planted a few plants but there’s plenty of room if you want to plant more. The rent is $1650 (water included) divided by 2 ($825ea). Deposit is only $500! Technically our lease renews on June 26th, so you would need to sign for that but I will prorate rent if move in later. We would sign the lease together for a year but if you need to move out and can find someone to take over that’s totally fine. We split electric and internet.

I am a 35 year old female, I have a part time job in the evenings and I am in school for graphic design. I work in the evenings but I am respectful of my roommate’s schedules if you need to wake up early, also my place is excellent for noise transfer. I enjoy hanging out, cooking dinner with, watching movies, playing games and spending time getting to know the person I’m living with. I have formed some of my most meaningful friendships with former roommates. I like to create art and I occasionally play guitar. I love to decorate and I have an eclectic “boho” style, lots of houseplants, vintage stuff, and artwork. I have a very sweet and friendly cat who will sit in your lap and snuggle you. I would actually prefer a roommate with a pet she can be friends with. She has lived with other cats and likes small calm dogs. The common areas are furnished but I’m not super attached to everything if you have something better.
