Aaron's room

Hello! Welcome to the wonderful world of internet listings. I have a single room available on my current house in Sunriver for $900 a month with utilities and internet being separate. My current roommate will be moving out and the room is available on December 1st. We are nestled out in the woods with plenty of trails surrounding us for nature walks and bike rides around Annes Butte. Right down the road is river access for river floating and the Village is 3 miles away. One of the great things about it out here is that we are only 20 minutes from the south side of Bend. I personally work in Bend and make that drive every day and it is totally worth it for the solitude out here. The master bedroom has two closets and access to a shared bathroom (the room will be seen if interest arises since my current roommate still lives in there). Our backyard is fenced in with plenty of space for relaxation. If you are active and love to ski, Mount Bachelor is right down the road.

What I am looking for is someone that is like minded as well as around the same age. Ideally I would like to find someone who enjoys some of these things too. I like to have a calm environment for myself that allows me to have a safe place to come to at the end of the day and want to also create that for you! I am 37 years old and loves all the nature and gardening. I’ve grown a few things out here and have noticed strawberries grow very well out here! Same with raspberries. I also dig football too. I am a Lions fan if that means anything, and if it does you’ll understand my pain. I also love to cook and aspire to have some kind of food truck some day.

Right now I work in social services where I mentor “at risk” youth. I am also currently in school at Cascades to get my degree in Human Development and Family Services.

I am pretty low key and chill. I like all sorts of music and to go biking and I go to the gym about 5 times a week (I work out to maintain really. I love food too much to not do this). I like to indulge in gatherings and down to learn any board games. I love all plants and I am trying to always learn more about them. You may catch me talking to them asking them how they are doing (only my house plants because talking to every dandelion I see might come off a big confusing). I love being outside and camping.

I have 2 dogs whom of which are the sweetest. Hoth is a white 9 year old husky shepherd mix who is pretty awesome. He respects people’s boundaries as well as other dogs. He likes a good chest scratch though. Then I have Chewy who is about 2 years old and is also a husky mix. Chewbo is smaller than Hoth but fast as lightening and loves to play. Tennis balls are his jam. He listens better than Hoth but is still learning things. I feel like sometimes this dog has endless and energy when other times he just kicks it. They love other dogs and I socialize them frequently! Another dog might be considered if appropriate.
